| Betamet Oy' s Workshop in Oulu is a contract workshop, specializing in handling acid proof- and stainless steel. Workshop has skilled staff who have the knowledge from the standards of tank making as well as the quality demands of infrastructure architecture in the most demanding visual level. High standards, followed in workshop, respond also high quality demands required in food industry. Workshop has 21 professionals who are specialized in processing and handling the stainless steels and aluminium, guarantee the successful manufacturing of the most demanding sheet contract work even with tight schedules. New assembly facilities, built in 2002, enable increasing possibilities for producing different kind of entities; from single pieces to series production designed for the customers needs. New manufacturing facility contains a unique pickling plant designed for contract work. The pickling plant has a capacity of 200 tonnes/year. The pickling pool is 4100 mm x 1500 mm x 1500 mm and the overhead crane’s capacity is 2 x 3200 kg. In addition to this, picking with sprayer technique enabling the pickling of large objects, is possible. |
Workshop’s customers include Metso, Rautaruukki, Stora Enso, Fortek, Kemira, Outokumpu, Oulun Energia, Valio and Ekokem.Workshop’s productsBetamets workshop customers are mainly from the process- and food supply industry. Amount of environmental technology firms is growing steadily.Workshop is increasingly manufacturing architectural design products to buildings and décor. Workshop has own, B&A Design Products. B&A Design Products include trash containers, bicycle sheds, buss stops, waste containers and other products for different purposes manufactured of stainless steel.
