Extensive rebuild project in Finland
At present, Betamet’s crew is preparing for extensive rebuild project at Stora Enso Varkaus mill. The order from Metso Paper consists of wire section, press section, dryer section, sizing section and drive system mechanical installation for PM3. The rebuild will improve efficiency and competitiveness of the machine. The wire width is 8470 mm and speed 1200 m/min.
Work is scheduled for shutdown period during the second half of November 2007 with 120 persons involved.
